Dr. Nyckowski specializes in medical, surgical, pediatric, and cosmetic dermatology. He has a dedicated interest in the early detection and treatment of skin cancer. He prides himself on forming good relationships with patients and helping them feel comfortable in their own skin.

 

He is a Midwest native who grew up near Chicago. He graduated from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and went on to medical school to graduate with honors from Des Moines University in Iowa. He worked as a hospital physician for his internship year at the Medical College of Wisconsin Affiliated Hospitals in Milwaukee. He then completed his dermatology residency with the Kansas City University Dermatology Residency in Orlando, where he served as chief resident and resident cosmetic trainer. He has loved the sunshine state since moving down and meeting his wife.

 

Dr. Nyckowski has authored over 20 peer-reviewed dermatology publications and serves as a guest editor for several journals. He believes that it’s important to stay current with ever-changing knowledge and techniques in medicine. His background is full of many different teaching and volunteering roles, and he believes the values translate into his practice of medicine. He is passionate about patient care.

 

Outside of work, he enjoys exercise, comedy, travel, sports, and spending time with his wife and dog, Daisy.
