Telemedicine during COVID19 Quarantine.
The Centers of Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) has loosened the regulations for telemedicine in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Telehealth services may now be delivered to Medicare beneficiaries by phone as long as video capability is available.
That means that you may talk to the providers at the Orlando Dermatology Center through the DOXY.ME program. Please note that you must have VIDEO as well as audio capabilities.
Also, please note that many services and diagnoses may be impossible without in-person contact between doctor and patient.
Telemedicine services are available for new and existing patients.
- For most cases, a Telemedicine visit allows your provider and his/her team to provide the same level of care that is delivered in-person at the office.
- If it is discovered during your visit that your provider needs to see you, we will make the arrangements.

Is my video visit secure?
Yes! The video technology uses bank-grade encryption. However, make sure you find a quiet, private place in your home or office for your appointment.
