Dr. Vitaly Blatnoy recently opened another Orlando Dermatology Center office on Alafaya near King Tuts and Pep Boys. The office specializes in Pediatric and Adult dermatology with a range of services. Dr. Blatnoy answers the following questions for future patients interested in treatment in the Waterford Lakes area:
Q. Tell us about your business and what you do.
This is a dermatology clinic specializing in medical, cosmetic and surgical dermatology. This is the second Orlando Dermatology Center office, the other is located in Oviedo.
Q. What are some of the types of services you offer?
Orlando Dermatology Center offers preventative skin care with thorough skin examinations and mole checks. We also manage skin conditions such as acne, rosacea, psoriasis, warts, hives, skin allergies, infections, scars, rashes, excessive sweating, pigmented spots and eczema. We offer a wide range of procedures including skin surgery, chemical peels, sclerotherapy, Botulinum toxin, dermal fillers and pain-free laser hair removal.
Q. How and why did you first decide to open your business now?
We have had a great experience with our first office in Oviedo and I believe that it is time for us to expand. Orlando’s suburbs are growing and we want to grow with them.
Q. What is your background in this area?
I completed my dermatology residency training at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine. I am certified by the American Board of Dermatology and the American Society of Mohs Surgery and I’m a fellow of American Academy of Dermatology. I moved to Orlando following my training and have received the Patient’s choice award four years in a row.
Q. Why did you choose the Waterford Lakes area?
Waterford Lakes and the surrounded Orlando suburbs are areas of fast growth. I decided to open another Orlando Dermatology Center clinic now because there is a need for good quality dermatologic care here. With the new families moving to the area, we decided it was time to expand our practice as well.
Q. What makes your business unique?
We offer a wide range of care in both Pediatric and Adult Dermatology and we have little to no wait times.
We also brand ourselves as the Florida Keloid Center because of our very effective treatment available for keloid scar removal. The treatment is called cryodestruction, which actually freezes the keloid from the inside out with liquid nitrogen. The freezing cold of liquid nitrogen causes a thermal effect that destroys cell growth, thus removing the keloid. With no risk of worsening the scar, and a 97% removal rate, the cryodestruction is the best method available!
Q. What do you hope customers remember about the business after their first visit?
That they received quality care, are well educated on their condition and confident in their treatment.
